CARE PACKAGES FOR OUR TROOPS
ADOPT-A-MARINE

with the Marines in
Iraq.
Let's show our support for our troops by sending them a care package
during
the holiday season.
Recommended Items;
White Socks - Dirt is a BIG factor over there.
Magazines - Time, Sporting, Cars, Etc.
Vitamins - Multiple Vitamins are not available at the PX.
M&Ms - ANYTHING CHOCOLATE, M&Ms travel best and don't melt.
Coffee - Now that the weather has cooled, there are a lot of individual
coffee makers. Good coffee is a big item.
Letters - The most important item. Our troops very much need to hear
that
people are thinking of them around the holidays. They may be tough on
the
outside, but are sensitive on the inside.
Please send packages to Fr. Merris at the address
below and he will get
them
distributed to the troops. Take "special care" to include all
nine
numbers in
the zip code. Allow 3 weeks for delivery. No box should be larger than
a
shoe box.
