Turn
Quarters into Dollars by Finding the Ones Minted With a Blemish-Truth!
Summary of eRumor:
A small number of quarters, nobody knows exactly how
many, were minted with a feature upside down. They are a part of the
new "state series" and the ones with the flaws are designed to honor
Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Connecticut.
The Truth:
This
is true. How do you tell whether you've
got a defective one? According to the U.S. Mint, Hold the quarter upright, head side facing you. Then
flip it over top to bottom. On the defect, the tails side will appear upside
down. Normal quarters have the tail right side up.
