The Truth:
A website that says it presents “fiction as fact” is behind a false report that Dr. Rafael Espinanzo has confirmed that Michelle Obama is a man.
The fabricated report appeared at Last Line of Defense under the headline, “BREAKING: Michelle Obama’s Doctor Goes On Record: ‘I Know What I Saw.’” The report, which was quickly shared nearly on social media nearly 10,000 times, quotes Dr. Rafael Espinanzo as saying:

“I Know what I saw. Michelle Obama is not a woman who used to be a man. Michelle Obama is just a man with breast implants and a huge shaving bill. On the campaign trail, no medical staff were allowed to go near her other than to take vitals if she got sick, which she never did.

I know what I know because I walked in on her…err…him…while he was taking a leak standing up in a bathroom in Trenton. They paid me millions for my silence but after seeing what they did to this country I just can’t keep quiet. Let them sue me.”

Those claims reflect incendiary and false claims made throughout the Obama presidency that Michelle Obama was a man masquerading as a woman. Despite the lack of concrete proof, elaborate conspiracy theories on the subject exist to this day.
The particular report about Dr. Rafael Espinanzo is easy to disprove, however. Last Line of Defense clearly states in its disclaimer that it’s content shouldn’t be mistaken for actual news:

DISCLAIMER: America’s Last Line of Defense is a satirical publication that may sometimes appear to be telling the truth. We assure you that’s not the case. We present fiction as fact and our sources don’t actually exist. Names that represent actual people and places are purely coincidental and all images should be considered altered and do not in any way depict reality.

And, if that isn’t enough to disprove this one, a photo appearing the story that supposedly depicts Dr. Rafael Espinanzo actually shows “Dr. Beardface,” a recurring character on the NBC comedy “Scrubs.” So, given all that, this one is “fiction.”
