Foods That Benefit The Body Parts They Resemble-Unproven!

Summary of eRumor:

The suggestion of this elaborate eRumor is that certain foods that look like various parts of the body also benefits those parts.  Examples include that sliced carrots look like the eye and are nourishing to the eyes or tomatoes are red and have four chambers and benefit the heart.

The Truth:

This strikes us as a very creative piece but is weak on substantiation.

We have not found any strong documentation correlating foods with the parts of the body that they resemble.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically
target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium.

making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix
