On May 4 2019, Barstool Sports shared the following clip on Twitter and Facebook, both captioned “Lady Mormont has the god damn MOVES”:
Barstool Sports shared the clip from @rmlundyjr’s May 3 2019 tweet:
Due to its caption, many users inferred that the clip depicted Game of Thrones cast member Bella Ramsey, who plays Lyanna Mormont:
On the road to Olympic glory if she wants it…#breakdancing#Olympics

Yoooo wtf – she would have deff won a dance off vs the giant. Why didn’t they incorporate this in the show ?!?

Between Twitter and Facebook, Barstool Sports’ posts alone were shared nearly 50,000 times. Another iteration was shared 13,000 times, but that one linked to a February 2019 video. That tweet was followed by a question to Ramsey about the video:
There’s nothing Lyanna Mormont can’t do. https://t.co/M9WGGQqtCG

Ms.@BellaRamsey the people want to know: is this you or just your long lost twin?
— Donovan (@cxcope) May 3, 2019
In response, Ramsey acknowledged a resemblance to the girl in the video, but added that it was in fact someone else:
I wish that was me but it is in-fact my long lost twin. She’s pretty damn cool.

An earlier version of the “Lady Mormont has the god damn MOVES” video was shared several months previously. In that iteration, the person who posted it did not make the claim that the dancing girl was Bella Ramsey or Lyanna Mormont.
