This is true.
According to congressman’s website, the bill would create the agency, which would be “…dedicated to peacemaking and the study of conditions that are conducive to both domestic and international peace.” It would also establish a peace academy, create the position of Secretary of Peace, and designate each January 1 as Peace Day.
