ICE Agent Commits Suicide in NYC, Reveals Plans to Roundup Americans-Fiction!
Summary of eRumor:
An ICE agent who committed suicide in New York City left behind a suicide note that revealed plans for the federal government to roundup and disarm American citizens amid economic collapse.
The Truth
There’s no evidence to backup reports of that an ICE agent left behind a suicide note that detailed government plans to disarm and roundup Americans after economic collapse.
That rumor started with a report that appeared at SuperStation95 under the headline, “ICE Agent Commits Suicide in NYC; Leaves Note Revealing Gov’t Plans to Round-up & DISARM Americans During Economic & Bank Collapse.”
The report, which cites “sources inside the New York City Police Department,” claims that the ICE agent wrote the suicide note a full week before his suicide. Here are excerpts from the alleged suicide note:
“If the American people knew what this government is planning, they would rise-up and overthrow it. If I or anyone else in the federal government revealed what is coming, we would be killed anyway, so now I will reveal what I know.
We in federal law enforcement have been drilling for several years to control riots and uprisings from a coming financial collapse and widespread bank failures. The drills involve life-sized images of American men, even women and children, whom we are told to shoot for “practice” and to “get used to it.”
We have been told that the economy is terminally ill and will fail in 2016. We are also told the banks are all insolvent and the FDIC doesn’t have nearly enough funds to bail out depositors. We are told these events are unavoidable and it is imperative that the government survive when people rise-up over this.
When the collapse takes place, detention camps created under the FEMA REX-84 program in the 1980’s to house illegal aliens whom we were going to deport, will instead be used to imprison American Citizens whom the government feels constitute a “threat.” American citizens will be rounded-up without warrants and imprisoned without trial for God knows how long.
These camps have been equipped to carry out Hitler-scale killings! An actual “purge” of Americans citizens by the very government which they, themselves, created and pay for! I cannot be party to this.”
Reports of so-called FEMA Camps for Americans have been circulating for years, but no evidence has ever been produced that actually gives those rumors any credibility.
Truth or Fiction has investigated (false) rumors about FEMA concentration camps, FEMA purchasing 30,000 guillotines and FEMA purchasing coffins for its death camps — all of them are nothing more than conspiracy theories, and the reports about an ICE agent’s suicide note is no different.
SuperStation95 isn’t a credible source for news. The site regularly publishes stories about the pending collapse of the United States, economic fallout, nuclear war, and, of course, FEMA scheming to roundup Americans.
Hal Turner, an Internet shock jock who served prison time for threatening federal judges and worked as an FBI informant thanks to his connections to white supremacist groups started SuperStation95 to broadcast his radio show after it was pulled from the airwaves, NorthJersey.com reports:
Turner testified that he had been recruited by the FBI in 2003 and paid thousands of dollars to provide intelligence on white-power extremists who gravitated to his show. He has said he felt betrayed when agents later arrested him for threatening the judges.
Two of Turner’s handlers, an FBI agent and a New Jersey State Police detective on the Joint Terrorism Task Force, contradicted elements of Turner’s testimony. They denied giving him legal advice on the limits of lawful speech, or that he was instructed to “ratchet up his rhetoric” to help the FBI find the killer of Lefkow’s family.
Turner’s incendiary Web postings and trash talk made him a frequent “control” problem for the FBI, but his unique access to the white supremacist movement also made him a valuable asset, the FBI agent said.
If the judge overturned the conviction, it would be up the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago whether to bring Turner to trial a fourth time. Turner is set to return to the airwaves with his weekly radio talk show on Oct. 7. By that date, the restrictions imposed by the court that barred him from broadcasting will have lapsed, he said.
He is returning to WBCQ, a Maine-based international shortwave station that is heard in all 50 states and 70 countries. The show also will be carried live on the Internet on superstation95.com, he said.
Turner said the new show will have a similar format but be less outrageous than his earlier shows.
“Since I am no longer working for the FBI, the show will not contain any content to flush out crazies bent on violence,” Turner said. “It’s not going to have racism. It’s not going to have anti-Semitism. It’s going to be a respectable, conservative, Republican/libertarian political radio show.”
So, given the background of SuperStation95 and found Hal Turner, we’re calling the website’s report that an ICE agent warned that Americans would be disarmed and rounded up in a suicide note “fiction.”
