This is the story from an employer of a woman who is married to a serviceman stationed at Fort Hood in Texas who received a text message from her husband saying that he was alright after the attack in November 2009. A nurse later called the wife to tell her her husband was shot in surgery. A day later, the employer received a picture on his cell phone of the serviceman recuperating in his hospital bed with an unexpected visitor, former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura.
